Welcome to the multi-award winning luxury Coes Faen Lodge
Dreaming of an idyllic escape to North Wales? Our luxurious adults-only lodge is tucked away on the Mawddach Estuary in Barmouth.
Each of our individually designed guest rooms are aimed at making your stay special. We create calm, peaceful spaces that promote relaxation, wellbeing delivered with discreet luxury.
Seeking a #SafeEscape together? We offer exclusive use of Coes Faen Lodge, with six bedrooms, a cosy Cwtch and 30 acres of private woodlands to explore. Most importantly, we provide a place to reunite and immerse yourselves in the wide-open space of the Mawddach Estuary.
Grounds & Gardens
Reconnect with nature in 30-acres of private woodland gardens. Discover hidden vantage points, relax among the wild-flowers, and seek out our famous swing for a picture-perfect moment.
Dog Friendly Room
We welcome dogs in our ground floor room, Talerddig. This room has it's own private patio and offers direct access to our gardens. Your doggy will receive a welcome pack and we even offer a 'nanny' service!
There is so much to explore right on our doorstep. With great forest park walks and outstanding bike trails such as Coed y Brenin Forest Park and the Mawddach Trail close by, you will be able to experience the beauty of Southern Snowdonia before retiring to the tranquility of the lodge.
Minimising your environmental impact when travelling doesn’t mean you have to forego luxury and comfort. Coes Faen was awarded the Good Hotel Guide's Editor's Choice for eco-friendly hotels in 2019. It's not just our computer controlled biomass central heating or the local logs and timbre we use from our own 30-acre woodland, we execute as many sustainable practices as possible to make this lodge extra special.
